In this article we will continue the discussion of the previous article about TYPES DREDGER. And on this occasion will discuss STEP PHASE AND DREDGING. dredging is a process that is carried out in the sea, rivers, lakes and so on in order to take underwater existing material to be moved or removed.

STEP PHASE AND DREDGING 

Dredging consists of 3 phases : 

1. Stage to separate and take underwater material by means of using erosion (erosion), emits a high-pressure water (jetting), cutting (cutting), sucking (suction), break (breaking) and take by using bucket (grabbing) 
2. Stage for transporting materials underwater by using barges (barges) barges specifically designed and has a container vessel (hoppers) pipe floating / floating pipeline conveyor-belt Trucks for use as a container for the dredged material. 
3. Stage for material removal, disposal of material through the pipe. 

Dredging is done for the following matters: 

• navigation 
•   infrastructure 
•  Engineering Beach / Coastal Engineering 
• Moving mineral mining industry Dredging excavated soil surface / overburden former mine reclamation 
• Offshore mining industry.
