Before we define what the port, we must first know or understand what it means that port. Thus, the port is something related to or in connection with any organization of port activities and other activities to implement the port to support the smooth functioning of the port. UNDERSTANDING THE PORT

5. The port is a gateway and can facilitate the relationship between the area and the island or even continent and nation to be able to promote the area behind or hinterland. And behind this area is an area that has an interest of economic relations, social, and so on for the port.
